Matt has achieved great renown in the region as a chef who is passionate about showcasing the best seasonal produce Townsville surrounds and Australia has to offer.

Ty Samuel

Born in South Africa, Ty moved to Australia in 2009 has over 10 years hospitality experience. Ty is regarded as one of Townsville’s young gun chefs.

Ty is passionate about, mentoring our apprentice chefs, connecting with local producers and exploring the regions ingredients to create dishes that give diners at Bridgewater a truly unique experience.
